as a paralegal in biz litigation with a lot of (a) contractor and (b) those whose who hire contractor clients, I am so serious you could get mad money as an expert witness for firms. you inspect a place, write a report, probably a deposition, and those VIDEOS! more videos are needed in this type of litigation bc the amount of money absolutely obliterated through written discovery on issues that are better understood through visuals is INSANE. recently had a client (hired a contractor) who made a whole PowerPoint with pictures and videos and written explanations to explain the issues and I'll tell you what, i fell in love that day
