This is so frustrating because there’s so much guilt and shame. Just as the foundation starts forming, there’s an extreme desire to totally tear it down. And if they do return after you break up with them, the “innocence” and early joy is already a bit lost. And I feel like their trust is broken. It’s a constant rebuilding. It’s hard to be mindful in the moment. I def notice it’s worse during the luteaul phase and when there’s not enough nervous system care (lack of sleep, too much scrolling, etc.)

How do I support him? He’s pulled back for the last week, we have texted daily but I can feel the shift. I’m meant to see him tonight but he cancelled the last time. I’m constantly anxious and waiting for him to just discard me.

For the 4-6 weeks mark is where it all started unravelling, I became TERRIFIED and started sabotaging — I’ve done extensive therapy and somatic healing work over the last 2 years because the last one really hurt, now that I’ve been feeling good and regulated I’m almost scared to put myself out there again because the memory of how it felt is so visceral
