Idk why people are pretending the ending didn’t make sense. It made perfect sense and was perfect for the characters. If part 3 exists it’s a perfect bridge if it ends here, it’s a perfect surrealist fantasy about letting go of trauma and finding happiness in the day to day rather than the fantastical spiral. People just want big explosions and straightforward happy endings.
