This garlic steak tortellini is rich, buttery, cheesy, and tastes like something you’d order at a restaurant, but it comes together right at home in one skillet. Tender steak bites, cheese-filled tortellini, garlic butter, parmesan, and parsley… this is cozy dinner magic without a ton of work. Recipe: Ingredients: 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size pieces (I like rid eye) 1 package refrigerated cheese tortellini 3 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced ½ cup grated parmesan cheese ¼ cup reserved pasta water 1 tablespoon chopped parsley ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning Salt and black pepper, to taste Optional: red pepper flakes, splash of heavy cream, extra parmesan Instructions: Cook the tortellini according to the package directions. Before draining, save about ¼ cup of the pasta water. Pat the steak bites dry, then season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside. Lower the heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet. Stir for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter. Add a splash of reserved pasta water to help coat everything. Add the steak bites back in. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, then toss until glossy and coated. Serve warm with extra parmesan on top. Tip: Don’t overcrowd the steak in the pan. Sear it in batches if needed so it browns instead of steaming. #SteakTortellini #EasyDinnerIdeas #GarlicButter #OneSkilletMeal #weekdaymealhacks
