So the black nobility families of Europe is not talking about skin color. It's talking about the people who didn't want to listen to the new laws of whoever it was that took over rome. They wanted to remain loyal to the Pope. And in defiance So people would know that they weren't following this new leader they wore black. I used to think that it was the same thing that you think it is but it's not.
