During covid a girl called to cancel 3 non-cancellable reservations, 10 nights total. She got covid, and needed the money. It was my last day, so I spend must of that shift calling the hotels giving some codes and giving her callbacks to confirm each. I hated that job, but felt good to be able to actually help someone. ✨

When I was being trained as a grocery clerk at cash.. there was a mom who was paying half cash, half card.. the lady training me gave her back way more change then she was suppose to and she looked at me and said… sometimes I make mistakes. And we went about our day.
