I do get where funky was coming from. they stated in their apology that multiple people will come into their chat and spread misinformation on others so I guess that was their breaking point. but they still should have just said,"gooseworx is a racist? I haven't heard anything about that but I'll look more into that when the stream is over"

I literally feel like so many people forget that they aren’t the ones receiving the apology. Like, I don’t forgive them, but it’s not my place to decide if others should forgive them or not. Because, guess what, I’m not the one being hurt by their actions.

It sucks when a creator you have high expectations of disappoints you. However, personally I think it would suck even more if creators who genuinely seem to be trying to do well and take accountability are 'canceled' over lapses like these. Funkyfrogbait adressed the issue twice. Some creators would not adress it at all, many are not held to the same standards by their own audience. Many creators thrive on being bigoted and extremist. There's no need to forgive FunkyFrogBait, that's a personal decision. However, I find the calls to cancel them disproportional. "It happens all the time, without fail." Almost as if the perfect famous creator does not exist.
