George is terrible at conveying emotion through dialogue. The fact that his iconic “NOOOOOOOOO”s are his way to convey emotion to his characters is hilarious. I definitely agree that he is better at showing emotion through visual storytelling. I WISH HE DID MORE OF THAT 😭

George Lucas writing was amazing in terms of world building, characters and plot. But his dialogue was so awful that every line from the movies became a meme. (In fact the prequels have better plot and world building than the original trilogy but also even worse dialogue)
