Swords bard, spec'd to be an archer, with Titanstring Bow, Rhapsody, Club of Hill Giant Strength, Helmet of Arcane Acuity, and Band of Mystic Scoundrel is a sight to behold. Imagine being able to consistently cast hold person or hold monster on most major bosses in the game with 95% to 100% hit chance every time.

I remember hitting orion forgetting I had that ring on, I was going for that ranger 1 shot build. hit her once and I was sent to the next phase. it was so satisfying winning a big boss fight in just 4 turns lol

If you have arrow of many targets, if the first hit crits, they all do. And if it's poisoned (any and all) it applies to all targets hit. They could still roll a save though.

I have a question and maybe I’m dense. By why does divine smite activating on crits matter? Like u can just select it normally as ur attack. Is it just trying to reserve ur smites for crits only so u use ur reaction? If not it lowk seems meaningless

u don’t need to build around the risky ring at all, you just have to kill everything turn 1
