Do college online with WGU it’s fully online and like 6 grand per term. People get their degrees in 6 months. I got my masters in 6 months

I was in the exact same situation. I found out a week after graduation, went to fall semester of college, had my daughter in February of spring semester. I ended up marrying her dad that summer and he went active duty. We had another baby the following year. When our second baby was 2 I went back and finished when he was 4.5. Our third was a week old when I graduated. So I got my bachelors with 3 kids. It was difficult but so worth it. There’s no rule that you can’t take a break but I will say it’s harder to start again after a long one because things change so much. That first baby is now 19 and just finished her freshman year of college.

My mom had one year left when she got pregnant with me. She dropped out one semester before she could graduate. However like 5 yrs ago she realized she’d be making so much more in her field with a Bachelor’s. She tried to go back, it’s so much more expensive if you try to go later AND my mom couldn’t even do it because she was already managing a full time career, household, marriage, kids. it only got harder. she had no time.

Go to school. I had my son at 18 and kicking myself for not going to college to get the degree. I’m 34 now and probably going back to school because I’m struggling with decent jobs and no degree.

I had a very similar situation! I decided to go back to college after taking 2 semesters off (one while pregnant, one postpartum) It is definitely challenging with a baby, but not impossible with a good support system and time management skills. I wish you the best of luck 😊

pls finish school babe! i got pregnant at 19, had my baby at 20. i never went to college past completion of my associates degree (pre pregnancy) but i never went back before or once i got pregnant. i have a good job & it pays very well but i definitely still consider going back every once in a while just to gain more experience! you never know what you might have the opportunity to learn.

My sister had her son at 20/21 and when she found out she was pregnant, she stopped showing up to nursing school classes. She ended up going back and graduating with her baby boy on her hip. If you were to ask my sister, finishing school was probably one of the best choices she made for herself and for her son. So if you have the option to continue, I say do it!

Go back. As hard as things seem right now being a mom unexpectedly at a young age, your life will never be more accommodating to return to school than right now before extra children, mortgages, big bills, etc come along. You can do this!
