@taazakhabar_nz: Queenstown looks like a dream — but for thousands of workers, it's becoming impossible to afford. Nurses, teachers, and everyday workers are living in garages and cars while 30% of homes sit empty. This is the reality of New Zealand's most expensive town in 2026. Watch before you plan your move. 👇 #QueenstownHousing #NewZealandReality #IndiansinNZ #NZHinglish #queenstownnewzealand

I don’t want to stay stuck in the pain that comes after finding out about my husbands affair(s). It’s heavy, it the most painful thing I’ve ever gone through and it just sucks. I also don’t want to stay numb to what happened and why I stayed so long. I don’t want to make the same mistakes and I don’t want this ugly thing always bubbling below the surface. So through lots of research and reading, I’m working with a trauma specialized therapist to reset my nervous system. It’s been stuck in this high anxiety state for so long - and I wasn’t even aware - that it’s going to take lots of little moments and little movements to teach me that I’m safe. Internal Family Systems helps to put you in control of yourself. If you’ve ever been so panicked that you need to get them to understand how much you’re hurting or if you’ve withdrawn to protect yourself - IFS helps you understand which part of you was responding and have compassion for that part rather than react or have negative self talk. This will be the foundation for how you can let emotions come and go without letting them completely take over. Not mentioned, but on my list are cognitive behavioral tools that will stop those thought loops that send me spiraling down a hole. Even visualizing putting those thoughts in a box and telling myself I can revisit this tomorrow can be helpful to break the patterns. And finally EMDR. To be honest, this one intimidates me. I’m afraid of what it will bring to the surface and the depth of the pain it will force me to acknowledge. This tool is advised to be used once you have a more regulated nervous system so I’ll be focusing on the Somatic work most heavily to start. If you made it this far - what am I missing? If you know of any great retreats please share. I feel like a week really immersed in this work would be helpful. #somatichealing #HealingJourney #divorce #betrayal #emdr
