I learned when I was 13 that my friends were getting stretch marks and I wasn’t, everyone around me got them despite us being the same size and weight. the difference was I have eczema which required me to hydrate and moisturize my skin constantly to prevent itching and dry skin. I stopped caring about my eczema and as soon as I stopped moisturizing and started gaining more weight the stretch marks started to show up.
