I decided to stop reaching out to my best friend of over 20 years because I felt like I was burdening her and all of a sudden 2 years went by and the next time I saw her she was engaged and 9 months pregnant. I don’t think I’ll ever recover. It has hurt my trust with every friend I have, I miss the friend I was before it happened.
