This is sooooooooo True! I spoke up to management about office manager behavior and nothing was done! But over time things got quiet, people moved funny and promotions were pulled back….. they move some else that has less experience and was at the company for less than 3 yrs to work close with the office manager… I felt like shit and worthless for a while… but I know I did the right thing for me

I have and recently, I had to cut personal relationships after being the outspoken one for years. They didn't have my back and I definitely felt islolated/the difficult person. I realized I could never stay quiet and I can never associate with others who never stand for anything.

Amen and this happened to me. I don’t stay quiet for nothing! If I’m wrong, I’ll admit it. But if I’m right, I will speak up. I don’t play that game cause then they walk ALL OVER YOU.
