I feel this so much. There isn’t a universal “male” haircut, especially when youre afab. Our faces are shaped differently, and often short haircuts can HIGHLIGHT our feminine features (eg soft face). I’ve tried a few different haircuts and realised too short actusllt feels way too feminine. I like to keep my hair at around 3 inches long and typically a mullet style because it helps hide my chubby cheeks and small neck. Short hair is also much harder to manipulate if it’s straight. I like to cut my own hair, which not only saves me Literallt hundreds of dollars in haircuts, but also lets me frequently experiment with every principle of hair to know EXACTLY what I want going on on my head

I’m under the firm belief anyone looks good with a buzz if you want really short—but any alternative hairstyle (in my opinion) would look good on you! I think the side part you’ve got rocking really brings away from your face

try asking for layers to make it fluff out a little instead of it being flat, and go to a barbershop instead of a salon. My hair was just like yours when I cut it, I felt so much happier once I got a haircut 8 months ago. You got this man TRUST!!!!

I think sometimes there's this idea that a haircut is gonna change everything, but the reality is you're still gonna look like you but with different hair. So just do what you like, experiment and have fun with it. People will see what they want to see.
