@madzoffmain: “You’re glazing.” AND WHAT ABOUT IT! I went in knowing absolutely nothing about this show and expecting just a standard run-of-the-mill teen soapy-drama (like I was prepared for a TSITP season 3 level situation) so yes I was very surprised to have had this experience! It certainly still had all the romp-y drama I wanted, it still allowed me a fun escape, but it also had serious heart to it. It was very well done! And I am a HUGE sucker for found family so you know I loved this. The world-building and character development for even tertiary characters felt live-in. Like I know these friends, I’ve had these friends! I think going in pretty much completely unencumbered by knowledge of the books, a single trailer, or the online discourse™️ was the absolute correct way to experience this show.
