A Sgt as a senior Drill Instructor ? Wow when I went through Parris Island in 1979 our Senior was a Gunny , the heavy was a Staff Sgt , who picked up Gunny right after our graduation , and the kill hat was a Sergeant who picked up Staff Sgt right after our graduation
