Paying for nonstop isn’t even necessarily the issue. The lack of nonstop options is the issue for me🙄😭

Layovers are great if you do it right. On the way back from Europe, found a 14 hr layover in Hawaii…. Ended up having a day trip in Hawaii to end our one month long European trip 🙂

I agree💯 with these! I just flew in to Los Angeles from Italy and there was no global entry back into the US but it literally took three seconds with the visual camera identification they have at LAX. And nonstop, especially over five hours! That’s a nonnegotiable.

TSA pre check and Clear is the game! Love global entry and MPC. Anything to whip through the airport. And, business class or first every flight.

If you have global entry you don’t need precheck. However highly recommend clear and global entry, worth alll the Pennies

Agree on non-stop flights but only when it’s available and I’ll pay a lot more for it. Sometimes I’ll adjust my itinerary for non-stop (for example traveling within a region) but not always possible for farther destinations esp from CA

Listen, if they don’t have global entry, they’re downloading Mobile Passport Control. Not optional.

I’m a digital nomad and I don’t think global entry/TSA pre-check is worth it. I travel significantly more outside of the country and if you’re airport is not busy, honestly both with it.

I live in Seattle and like going up to Vancouver British Columbia and got the Nexus pass which included Global Entry. I got to check it out in February coming home from Mexico and it’s amazing.

MPC is great. Every time I travel with my friend who has global entry, I either get through the line before she does or 1 minute behind her.

Or MPC. Download the app if you don’t have global entry and if your airport has a separate line for MPC I’m betting it’s almost empty

Economy Plus is the way to goooo! Just keep in mind that if you’re flying economy plus to Latin America (especially with Avianca), only accept business/first class OR exit row. I paid $65 each way for “plus”… but the leg room was HORRIBLE. Maybe a centimeter more than economy. When in doubt with new airlines just go w the exit row if you are able.
