I have degrees in nursing and education. I thought for sure I would be peds or L&D. Nope. I am a hospice nurse and working as a hospice nurse educator, and I LOVE it. Life is funny that way.

we need a story time about when u first start lvn school and how you studied ect. how it was, the teachers, the clinicals. you know the deets. I submitted my application for my community's LVN program, and submitted my finger printing/background check, now just waiting 😬🤭. id love to hear your story!

I don’t know how my mom did it . Now she is retired RN and army/Air Force nurse . She learned it in school during her military days. She have MH work experience for many years since 29 plus years until she retired. Then she used to be BH care manager to helped a lot of patients and there for them whenever they needed help. 🥰

I was really good at psych in nursing school but as a job I don’t think I would be able to do it. I did peds home health as a new grad and now I’m a nurse at a pregnancy center doing ultrasounds! I love it! My dream nursing job is L&D!!

I legit had the same experience… got my masters thinking I wanted to be a WHNP, ended up in hospice/geriatrics with psych being the only thing I realized every single nurse should study, because it’s the glue that holds the body together. Loving your journey!!!
