my rhododendron flowers are faded and the leaves are browning, could this be because of the sun & heat? i’ve been watering it regularly but it was only planted in two weeks ago ☹️

I didn’t know they had flowers until it bloomed only one flower I was pruning all the buds off I thought it was a boring bush🤣

Such an important tip - so many people prune at the wrong time and wonder why they get no flowers the following year. Right after flowering is the golden rule

I’m in ks and we had to add sulfur and iron to the dirt. They are starting to look better so hopefully they’ll start growing more! I also just added a 4-10-4 so it’ll grow new leaves…hopefully 🙈
