It is Tuesday, May 5th and this morning I am doing something I have been looking forward to for a while. I am passing my Autel 640T drone to one of my employees and taking him through his very first hands-on flight training session out in Tulare, California. He just passed his drone licensing exam and I could not be more proud. Mentoring people in this industry is one of the most rewarding things I get to do, and today is one of those days that reminds me why I love this work. After the drone session I have two job sites to hit. First is a substantial completion inspection near Fresno where I am closing out punch list items and making sure everything is good to go. Then I am heading to a freshly mobilized site to run a golden row inspection. If you are not familiar with what a golden row is, I break it down in this episode. The short version is that it is a quality check done before all the modules go down to make sure the installation method and wire management are dialed in before the crew goes any further. Getting it right early saves everyone time, money, and margin. I also get honest about something this morning. The Phoenix Journal has taken a hit. Between prepping for Costa Rica, being out there for a full week, travel delays on the way home, and just general life momentum, I fell off the habit. I am not going to pretend it did not happen. What I am focused on now is getting back on the horse without being hard on myself about the gap. I talk about what that looks like and ask a real question in the comments that I want you to answer. Whether you are someone who has fallen off a routine, someone who mentors people in your field, or someone working in the solar industry trying to protect your margin, there is something in this one for you. Same time tomorrow. Pull up a chair. #PerkUp #WeightLossJourney #bodytransformation #CarnivoreDiet #dangercoffee
