Any ways to help ripen your cervix at home? I know you can do perineal massages and evening primrose suppository, but is there anything else you can reccomend to try at home?

I’m 37.1 weeks today and my induction is set to exactly 39 weeks (June 10) today my cervix was 50% effaced and she said it was super soft so I’m praying it’s thin enough by June 10th

My cervidil caused contractions about 5 hours in, I was prepared for pitocin contractions but not for cervidil contractions! I had an awful night because of it

I’m kind of excited for my induction this time, I’ve had 2 before and both my cervix needed 2 rounds of ripening before I could start pitocin but this time around my cervix is pretty soft so I’m excited to see how fast things progress

I’m 39 weeks with my second I just had appointment today I’m 1cm but 70/80% effaced is that a good sign? My induction is Aug 4th I’m so scared for the balloon 😭

Had my induction Monday night! Was 1cm 60% effaced at 9pm when we started cervidil to which they said would be in about 12hrs. Contractions started about 2 hrs into it, was 3cm around 3 am and got my epidural, an hour later cervidil was out and I was 4cm. 5 am I was 5cm and water broke on its own. By 9am I was complete after sleeping a few hours. Didn’t end up needing pitocin until after labor and all I needed prior was the cervidil. Baby boy was here at 11:30 am after pushing an hour and a half. Felt sooooo incredibly lucky with how it went!

Went in for an induction at 1 cm, expecting a long, boring night. Got my second dose of Cytotec, was still only 1 cm at my last check, and then apparently chose violence because my baby was born less than 2 hours later. The nurses and doctors were stunned because we were only supposed to be ripening my cervix. Labor progressed so fast I speedran childbirth and missed my epidural. 😭💀

I 50% effaced last Thursday, 2cm (idk how effaced) on Tuesday, got a membrane sweep and baby dropped low into pelvis, I have been losing small/ medium amounts of mucus on the daily since (have had s3x Wed/ today), scheduled induction Monday 6/1; do we think my cervix has ripened enough for an easy induction or should I try something more?
