This is Hamza and Madina and they have over 20 halal carts across New York City and now they’ve opened their first restaurant outside the US right here in the UAE 🇺🇸🇦🇪 The chicken and lamb are marinated fresh daily, cooked on the griddle until smoky and juicy, then chopped down the proper New York way into tiny strips and cubes before getting loaded up in 3 different styles 🔥 The OG way is over their Mediterranean-style tomato rice with salad and fries… but what really makes this taste like New York is the SAUCE game 🤌 That famous white sauce all over, coriander sauce drizzled on top, then the spicy red sauce crossed over in an X. The balance is unreal. Creamy, spicy, fresh, smoky… every flavour hits properly. This is comfort food at its finest and genuinely my favourite rice box in the UAE right now 😮‍💨 The owners came from New York and spent months here making sure everything tasted identical to the original carts back home. 📍 You can sit in at the Sharjah branch, while the Al Quoz location is a dark kitchen only with car delivery available 🚗 Chicken, lamb or mixed: 🥙 Gyro – 25 AED 🍚 Over rice – 35 AED 🍟 Over fries – 35 AED Absolute must try.
