I can't maintain friendships. I don't have the capacity to receive calls daily and text back. I can't sit for hours on the phone, I don't have stories to tell you. I have no drama going on, and even if there is I still feel it will be too much to share with another person. But if you need someone to listen once in a while I'm there and it's okay. But I can't carry other people daily because I also struggle to mentally carry myself daily.

I grew up with a mom who never had friends and I used to interrogate her about it all the time. As time moves in my life I am slowly realising how easy it is to find yourself with less and less friends and it's okay.
