@life_with_samantha: What fun things have you done this half term? I always find a big charity shop a hit with the kids, ours has a massive toy area and a huge selection of books. Our had a free toy table this week although the kids didn’t want anything from it 😂 I’ve built up my toy corner over the years from charity shops, games have been as cheap as a £1 and we have loads of fun playing them. A bit of downtime is always welcome 😅 so a good fun Netflix film come in handy. McDonald’s is a firm favourite treat with these two but it’s never cheap! Finding free things to do can be hard. I wanted to see The Longest Yarn 2 Britain at War display before it moved on and wasn’t sure if the kids would enjoy it. It was 80 display cases showing different scenes from World War 2 which my niece hasn’t learnt about yet at school. She really got into it. I was asking lots of questions and telling her lots about each scene. My nephew enjoyed counting the knitted characters in each display till we hit around the 60 mark then got bored but they both did so well. Keep on eye out to see if it visits near you soon! #halfterm #thingstodowithkids #funwithkids #freedaysout #kids
