If you are willing to commit to those monthly installments for 25 years then the best option would be to find a place where you can pay rent that costs 50% of the monthly installments you were supposed to pay on the mortgage bond then invest or save the remaining 50%

I disagree. a 1500sqft 1970's or 80's double wide should not for any reason cost over 300k. especially not without extensive indepth remodeling. and especially not without central air. but here we are. prices far exceed what's reasonable or even close to fair. even just to get what's needed for a family. 200k for an 800 sqft single wide same condition. over 340k for a 3 bed 1 bath 1800sqft site built home with no central air. thats not buying outside our means. the prices far outweigh the incomes that the average person has available to them.
