I’ve been watching everything happening with DMS, and honestly, it’s disappointing to see how divided the gaming community has become.
Whether you agree with DMS or not, nobody can deny the impact he has had on Free Fire. For years, he entertained players, brought attention to the game, and helped build a community that many of us are proud to be part of today.
What surprises me the most is not that people have different opinions, but that some creators seem more interested in celebrating his setback than acknowledging his contributions. You don’t have to support every decision DMS makes, but showing respect for what he has done for the community should not be difficult.
A creator should be allowed to grow, explore new opportunities, and play different games without being treated as if they have betrayed the game they helped promote. Supporting a creator’s freedom does not mean attacking a game, and criticizing a company does not mean hating its community.
At the end of the day, badges can be removed, partnerships can end, but the impact a creator leaves on a community remains. DMS earned the respect of thousands of players through years of hard work, and that is something no badge can take away.
I hope everyone involved remembers that today’s rival or critic is still a fellow creator who helped build this space. Respect should always come before celebration of another person’s downfall
