I learnt as a Freind had a deaf child who was full of fun and I could not communicate with him at the time he was about 5 I went to college learnt to sign and 25 years later still doing it ❤️

How long have you used sign language for? Was it something you learned as a an adult or did you learn it growing up? Just wondering how easy it is to pick up as an adult. Is it worth doing a BSL course?

I did a course in bsl even though I could do the basics growing up with deaf parents ..it was really good to learn more doing the courses

I’ve said for years instead of an alternative language at school, we should all be taught BSL. I’ve never had use for French of German but needed BSL multiple times

Brilliant ! Definitely want to learn sign language. As someone who now volunteers as a first responder I know this would be soooooo useful, crucial even. Thanks for the video 👋👋

my mum taught me makaton signs since before i could talk. its so usefull if were on the other side of a isle in the shops or talking thro windows or in loud places. im learning BSL now but i have no friend who know it to help or sign to
