I’m not sick I’m just really sad Anthrocon this year was my first con and I missed a lot of stuff so me and my mom are just going to get a hotel next year even though we’re locals

Masks masks masks! Went 3 years of cons with 0 con crud while everyone was wearing masks. I still wear masks whenever I can in high density public spaces, and only rarely get con crud. There are plenty of super cute, fun, and cool masks out there to wear for your own benefit, and the benefit of those around you 🧡

there's a reason that the local hotels sell out of "Emergen-C" from those vending machines. there's also a reason that the sellout of Tums and acetaminophen and you know all that other stuff too. 💙🦝💜

One trick that i use for flying and i bet it may help some people is a vitamin C supplement (like Emergen-C) started a week or two before the event

so 2024 Anthrocon was my first ever con. I ended up getting covid despite wearing a mask the whole weekend and my roomies never got it so I am gonna assume it was my flight home. I will say if it weren't for getting sick I would not have connected with so many people after the con and now know people to look for next time I go

Luckily I rarely get con crud ever though I go to some big cons like DragonCon. I always wash my hands before I eat and make sure I get enough sleep. I also make sure I have some healthy snacks every so often besides regular meals and a lot of water. 😸💖

that all works 100% what I do is very simple i stay hydrated and shower at least once a day Id recommend before going to bed for me the rest is just being extra but this is just what I do i am by no means an expert im just sharing what I do
