Tesco say they price match Aldi but they definitely don’t. Our weekly shop is about £80 but if I went to Tesco it’d be over £100!

Lidl’s excellent theme weeks are very popular with middle class customers. Aldi is now trying to do something similar but they are nowhere near as good.

The Lidl near me has invested loads in new checkout points to speed things up. It does seem like they're trying to grow.

The app for Lidl is fantastic, shame they stopped the 10% recently. Fruit n veg is better than Aldi too.

I went into my local Lidl a couple of years ago just out of curiosity and I've never gone back. Love the bakery, love the country themed weeks. And the wines are nice too.
