idk there’s something uniquely beautiful about candid pictures. those pictures capture the carefree and charming nature of your relationship with your grandma as opposed to a picture perfect photo. a photo captured in the moment will always be a more honest and accurate depiction of life than something generated by ai. in 10 or 20 years, when you look through your photos, you won’t be fawning over a picture generated by ai, but the one that was captured in the moment. “ah, grandma, missing the camera, oh how i miss her.” “a silly face, how young i was back then.” an ai generated picture is a derivative, and how you feel about that picture will always be a derivative, of how the originals made you feel. :)

Wow I think people are kinda cynical for a AI application to patch up a small regret. I never got a chance to even take a graduation photo with my grandma and the opportunity to visualize her beside me, even if it’s artificial, healed such a big part in me. Great piece of storytelling though, love the effects and sincerity of it. Keep going! ✨

sorry but this is not a really good advertisement. ai can never capture the moment art is never perfect, and the imperfectness of it is what make it beautiful. those pictures are heartwarming. I hope my generation heals from this ai obsession.w
