@maymoves: Sun maxing baby : 1. magnesium mist for better vitamin d absorption 2. Green tea topically (in our sol oil☀️) to support skin in uv stress 3. clean food. The skin reflects Internal health. The healthier your inner, the more resilient your skin. 4. Keeping your skin nourished and hydrated! With oils on your skin, and nutrient packed juices! #tanninghacks #healthytan #tanningoil
I agree to an extent, but the sun is “stronger” and the ozone layer is depleting, so it’s different now than it used to be, and our skin can’t handle the stronger UVs . Humans haven’t experienced this high UV radiation historically and our skin hasn’t adapted to it because our ozone was never meant to be this thin. We have to take care of our environment, and we are a reflection of said environment!

You’re right, the sun hasn’t changed… but living conditions of Earths climate have. The Greenhouse Effect coupled with damage to the ozone layer from the Industrial Revolution allows MORE of the harmful rays that the sun produces to penetrate earth, which is why sun protection is SO IMPORTANT today! If we really want to embrace outdoors with no fear for our skin, we should be focused on promoting policies to protect the natural climate of our planet rather than on tanning oils that literally function to cook your skin 😁
