How are you gonna be spending 45k on something without googling its reliability… I feel like it’s such common sense to know which car brands are reliable and which aren’t. If you want a nice car get a Toyota/Lexus or acura/honda. If you want anything else, lease it so it’s covered under a warranty and then get something else. Don’t waste your money on something that’ll depreciate 40% when you leave the lot and blow a motor at 80k miles

Rogue would have been best. Tucson has too many issues. Ours got to 40 k and needed a whole new engine, so yeah. Can’t got wrong with Nissan.

45 get the 2026 jeep Cherokee full hybrid. I got the overland top trim for 46 out the door. Love the car

i loved my tucson. i had a 2022, had her for 4 years, now i just got a vw id.4. my college is also about 3 hrs and the tucson was great for that, just be careful because the 2025/2026s just got recalled for their front sensors/cameras malfunctioning

You can find reliable suvs within 45k. Toyota, Mazda and Honda all make SUVs that fit your budget and they require basic maintenance.

I was wanting a Tiguan also and changed my mind to the Kia Sportage. I love my Kia Sportage. I have red leather seats and lots of features. We have also had the Tucson and I like the Kia better. The seats were also more comfortable with the Kia.
