This reminds me of how there are still so many people angry and upset about how Jackie Aina doesn’t want to be called “auntie” anymore because of her adultification / parentification trauma. “Auntie” has become the new misogynoiric replacement for “mammy” and any black woman saying no to being called that gets attacked and hated for it.
