@second.chance.hor: One thing I am becoming more conscious of.. and maybe sensitive too.. is that I can’t give myself all away. And I mean to people.. who once they realize you are a caretaker.. continuously take and take.. not ever realizing what they’re taking from. And that’s not to say.. not to help everyone you can.. but knowing when you can and when to stop. My love tank can’t ever get to empty.. because there are so many souls that need me.. that is my priority. Conserving my peace.. my heart and soul.. so I can continue to grow and become the best version of myself for them. And the difference between caretaking here at HHHH… they don’t take frivolously. They ask for very little honestly.. and they give you.. everything. Their trust.. their respect.. their love.. even when we don’t deserve it. . . So sometimes.. it’s ok.. to not respond.. or to not constantly drop everything because people are expecting you to. Rebuilding from 0 is a lot harder than puzzle piecing back a piece or two. . . This is Koe 🖤 Koe was rescued in December.. and he has never let me sit with him until today. Healing.. takes time ❤️ #percheron
