@caseyleighwiegand: What 18 years of showing up online actually taught me about myself 🤍 It taught me that people don’t connect most deeply to perfection. They connect to honesty. To warmth. To someone who makes them feel seen. Hi, I’m Casey. I’m a mama of four, a creator, a dreamer, an artist at heart, and somehow… I’ve been sharing my life online for almost 18 years now. And if I’m honest, I started all of this as a girl who simply loved creating. I loved taking photos. Making things beautiful. Writing my thoughts down. Sharing tiny moments that felt meaningful to me. Connecting with others. I had no idea it would become my career. Or that women would grow up alongside me here. Or that this little corner of the internet would hold seasons of motherhood, grief, growth, moving houses, chasing dreams, raising teenagers, homeschooling, building businesses, and becoming more myself year after year. But somewhere along the way, showing up online taught me something really important: You cannot build a sustainable life pretending to be someone you’re not. The seasons where I felt the most exhausted were always the seasons I was trying to fit into what I thought people wanted from me. And the seasons that changed everything? Were the ones where I leaned harder into who I actually am.
