@skinwithjayme: 1.Work in small sections, top to bottom or bottom to top. Be uniform and organized 2.Keep pen flush against skin the entire time. It should be perpendicular to the treatment area. 3.The pen should be resting on the surface of your skin, no added pressure needed. Let the needles pulse in at the set depth. 4.Apply your glide to each section as you get to it. Be sure to add enough to allow the pen to glide smoothly. 5.Any tugging or pulling of the skin is a sign to add more glide or decrease your depth. 6. Depth should be adjusted to fit the area that you're treating. Forehead/eyes/nose - .25-.5mm, chin/upper lip/cheeks/neck/chest- .5-1.5mm 7. To target problem areas - increase depth and use a stamping method. 8. Never hold pen on one area for more than a few seconds, stay moving. 9.Only use serums that are specifically formulated for microneedling- i purchase majority of mine from meamo, estaderma or acecosm. All can be accessed in my ShopMy 10. DrPen A11 is my go-to, Biopen Q2 is my secondary. M8S is also great. I have two official DrPen websites in my bio. 11. The lower speeds on the pen are meant for more sensitive areas. I keep mine at a speed 6 for the whole treatment. 12. Apply nothing other than the treatment serum for 12 hours minimum post treatment. I do evening treatments & do a gentle routine in the morning - my exact routine is in my ShopMy 13. Three passes per area is standard - each done in a different direction. Vertical, horizontal, circles or diagonal.
