welcome back friend. Luckily my freshman is home for summer. But already ready to go back. He's teamed up with group to move freshman in next year. Although this 1st year was mental struggle and we had too much in August he grew up so much. He said next year he wants to help freshman move in because remembers how scary it was that 1st week and wants them to have connection if they are lonely too. So I take that as Freshman year win.

My son was hoping to be anywhere but home for the summer. Unfortunately his dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is home till late August. While I’m happy to have him home, I’m devastated for my kiddo who is likely spending his last summer with his dad.
