Can count on one hand the products I use and only wear mascara on special occasions! Have a capsule wardrobe (which ladies I'd recommend for decision fatigue on a morning). Personally I value someone's heart and character not what is on the surface as long as they're clean obviously! It's a sad reality there are shelves and shelves of products suffocating women, even the corner shop! Constant subliminal messages teaching women they're no enough and what gets me the most is comments to girls studies show from 5 years old! wtf! We need to do better! My rant of the day landed here today 😂

I used to not feel confident without makeup. Now I don’t wear makeup at all. Makeup isn’t something that gives you confidence, it’s something that makes you feel insecure without it, but only if you give it that power. And about medication, from my experience with many psychiatrists, they often only prescribe medication to make your suffering more bearable, rather than trying to heal the root cause. Healed people would mean the end of their careers. I was diagnosed with one of the worst mental illnesses and was told it would last a lifetime and never get better. Now I’m much happier and in a better state of mind. I don’t need medication anymore, and I’ve learned how to deal with the symptoms when they show up. It wasn’t the medication that truly helped me, even tho there were times when I simply could not live without it. Yet I can’t help but feel that it’s the system that makes people mentally ill and feeds on their suffering.
