I just taught my group chat how to grow potatoes in a cardboard box. If you grow ANYTHING, potatoes and green beans are the easiest things to grow. Potatoes are filling, beans are prolific.

Rabbit manure can be applied to the garden up to 30days prior to harvesting vegetables. Rabbit manure does NOT need composting before putting it in the garden (unlike all other livestock manures)

Dollar tree sells neem oil that is not a pesticide and organic. Just take it and rub it on the leaves. I have some purple and green basil growing right now. 🥰

YO FARMER HERE. Commodity prices are up $0.50-$2.50 per bushel than they were this time last year. If you prepurchased your inputs you'll be fine. Many of the farms that are going under were either going to go under irregardless, OR made huge bets that the 2019-2023 markets would continue another few years and cant make the payments. Larger "corperate" farms (corperate farms are illegal in my state) are feeling the crunch more than the MTOs because they have huge debt loads. STOs are going under because they dont have the capital built up to survive hard times because they just got going.

This ALLLLL this! I keep screaming this! and freeze if you don't know how to can safely. Also beans, rice, evaporated milk and learn to make your own broth (which is easy) so you can make hardy soups in the winter.
