I don't yell at my kids 99% & do apologise if i lose my cool sometimes by mistake. But i am determined to end this generational trauma & unlearning/learning at the same time. And yes, i will love and respect my daughter in law and son in law just as much as i would to my own kids. You’re 100 % correct. I am 52 and still traumatised because of the yelling I received from my dad! Which is why I always apologise if I have done wrong to my kids, which is very rare by the way.
