this song genuinely makes me cry everytime. everyone thinks its because its a sad song but i genuinely have a connection with it to my grandpa. my grandpa would ALWAYS say yellow instead of hello. he would make yellow jokes. coldplay was his favorite and yellow is his favorite color. he would wear yellow shirts and would always have this song. he died in 2020 and genuinely the saddest time of my life. before he died he left me a note before he died saying that i should never give up on my dreams. and whenever i think of yellow or coldplay i always think of him. i could write 500 more paragraphs on how this was his song and yellow was his signature color but im genuinely crying.
