Haven’t seen this yet but as soon as it came on screen I thought the mum was gonna tell her that it’s her fault, it’s great to finally have a supportive family shown!

That phone call with her mom reminded me of my calls to my mom whenever I have a mental health episode or meltdown. I would apologize for “being a burden” to her, but she keeps telling me that I am not a burden and that she is always here for me because she is my mom. It breaks my heart that not all women have mothers like that.

Watched this show not knowing her story at all and was genuinely almost crying seeing the scenes of her and garrett and her become comfortable with him and be comfortable in herself. She portrayed it so well as someone whos been through it myself😭
