They are wrong for that, but I am the type of person who doesn’t have kids and when I do grill I only make a couple burgers for me and my girl or just two steaks because it’s only two people.

Personally I would’ve gave the kid food, but how are we bashing these folks for not doing that? You’re the guy that has food for all the kids in the neighborhood when you grill? That’s great, and me too; however, there are times it’s just for me and my fam, so how do you what they got going on?

I always have snacks because my kids like to feed the whole damn neighborhood😂 one day a girl came to my door when my sons were gone and asked for a snack and I gave it to her. I cant deny a child food it doesnt sit well

It’s just me and hubby now, we only cook one steak and split it. But I’ll be damned if I’m not feeding a kid knocking at my door. He’s leaving with something! I always have sausage links, hot dogs and I’ll make more mac and cheese if I need too.

That’s why I’m an advocate for free lunch and breakfast schools no matter the income because you never know if it’s the kid only meal ,and you’re right they could have fed him .

My uncle and aunt who lives down the street from me. They overcook a lot of food just in case any neighborhood kids are hungry and want some. Chips, and whatever they cooked, a lot of food like cantaloupe, watermelon, etc. The kids and teens always came:) even for 4th of July my uncle would buy A LOT A LOT so those kids and teens can come and have some ! Mind you my uncle and aunt and mom and step dad all came from a whole different country when they was a kid. They had NOTHING! So they giving back cause the people in their neighborhood when they grow up always make sure they ate and joined and all
