Love Lara in all her versions but , she is a complete different character in the survivor trilogy and I do wish we get her classic characteristics in this new era

I know the unification is supposed to keep elements of both and turn her back into her old design and vibe. But I’m still worried. We know off the trailer she’ll likely have the same sass in LOA but I hope they keep her the sort of borderline sociopathic character she was in the 90s and the fact she ‘only plays for sport’. One thing that never sat right with me was the re-write of her origin story. They could’ve made a fantastic game based on her CORE Design Origin which is arguably more feminist than her Survivor Origin. I’m worried they still keep the ‘HER FATHER’ storyline. CORE DESIGN origin was better; A woman born into a rich family, going to be forced into arranged marriage, refuses to be part of that lifestyle and risks losing everything; which she does. And she peruses what she loves and makes a name for herself, builds wealth for herself. All on her own. I know changed elements of family began to get brought into LAU but with LAU you could’ve at least assumed her CORE origin still was canon after the childhood snippets we see.
