i mean yeah it takes a special kind of cold blood to be able to operate people's hearts everyday, I feel like you can't have endless empathy and cold blood at the same time if that makes sense ?

I do post-op bladder fluro studies constantly on patients who have a suspected "nick." I love how they come up with benign sounding terms for their eff-ups.

All in all the resident did the right thing, even though he made a mistake, he still did the right thing, he suspected that his mistake was possibly deadly, they confirmed it wasn’t. He was upset at his mistake and rightly so. The surgeon was just unnecessarily callous

What’s crazy is that this happens every fucking day maybe not in surgery but as a medical assistant, I have seen how specialist weather in cardiology internal medicine. Just have some sort of demeanor as if I’m better greater superior than staff below me when in reality for all peers who don’t need to be talked to a certain way we all get paid maybe not the same amount but we all get paid by the same Corporate business that runs all of these bills and half of us don’t say anything because we need those hours because we need those recommendation letters because we need to be all good and dandy when in our heads were saying half the shit that they should be set out loud
