Thanks for your answer Jeff. I never thought about a trailing stop for just part of my position. Mostly I look at my stock holdings off hours after my work. Then I make a few actions … but get completely surprised by something that happened. So I need to do something that works while I’m away. I guess there are even “chains” of actions you can create … example; if it goes to XXXX price, sell it and then buy YYYY. I don’t have the financial security to make big mistakes, so I’m trying to protect myself if a big surprise drop happens. Thanks again.
