@drabas52: External Cephalic Version, also known as ECV, is a medical procedure used to help turn a breech baby into a head-down position before birth. During the procedure, a doctor gently places their hands on the mother’s abdomen and carefully applies pressure to guide the baby into the correct position. ECV is usually performed around 36–37 weeks of pregnancy under close medical supervision. Doctors monitor the baby’s heartbeat throughout the process to ensure safety, and in some cases medication may be used to help relax the uterus. Although ECV is not always successful, it can reduce the need for a cesarean delivery and increase the chances of a vaginal birth. #Pregnant #Pregnancy #Baby #Birth #Childbirth
