i was so relieved when my OB recommended being induced at 39 weeks. it’s my first and my fiance works night shifts and truck drives. so it gave me peace of mind to be prepared and ready (plus labor can still take 1-3 days) 😅

i’m doing this. My husband is a truck driver and drives over the road. I need to make sure he is not states away when I go into labor🥹 so I’m getting induced so we have an exact date.

My 2 kids have both came at 37 weeks and some days, I’m hoping I get this lucky with my 3rd…. He’s a 98 percentile baby and I’m only 30 weeks rn but I’m getting new stretch marks in places I didn’t know were being stretched 😭

I’ve had inductions and spontaneous/natural births - all have been great. Being able to plan (childcare, house cleaning, work for both of us) with the inductions makes for a much more relaxed mama in my book.

I wanna go all natural but a small part of me wants to get induced because my man’s in the military, which the military can be very unpredictable so the idea of having a set date makes me less anxious. Who knows though, maybe I will maybe I won’t

My last one I was GBS positive and require antibiotics right before delivery, lived an hour away from the hospital, and had another child to arrange care for. I scheduled that shit. This go around it’s kid number 3. I’m delivering at that same hospital and I’m terrified I’ll have it in the car if I don’t schedule.
