When we bought our home, my mother-in-law gifted us this big beautiful table for our family to eat at. One day my oldest son was doing good home work and pressed so hard while writing his name that it went through and dented the table with his name. He then did the same for his sister and brother’s names. I wasn’t even mad. It’s still there. The wear on it shows all of the time we spent as a family at that table. Even at my late husbands seat, you can see where his arm rubbed all of the time. It’s beautiful 💜

My niece was living with. I had 3 boys. For her 8th birthday we did all the girly stuff, sleep over, makeup, nails🥰 she’s 39 and we still have bits of nail polish on the kitchen table. Fond memories 😂🤣🙏😁🥰
